Giving Pets Liquid Medicines.

• Hold the upper jaw as you would when giving a pill.
• Keep your pet’s head level. Do not tilt back as you would when giving a pill.
• Squirt the syringe filled with medicine into the side of the mouth. Do not squirt into the back of the throat as it may accidentally get into the windpipe.
• Close your pet’s mouth and watch for swallowing.
• When swallowing occurs, give lots of praise to your pet.
